Grumpy Tom & grndhntr. Thanks for the info about Colorado Xbow hunting, I just looked at the archery season rules. I do not want to claim to be disabled, I am not. It just hurts too much to draw and hold my traditional bow. Gives me the shakes and my accuracy goes to heck. I will not take the chance on wounding an animal. I did not know it was legal to hunt with an Xbow during the rifle seasons. I guess that would be better than nothing, but I quit hunting during the rifle seasons after being shot at. Not sure I want to be in the woods with the sound shooters again. grndhntr I live a short ways up the Poudre Canyon, North and West of Ft. Collins. I will definitely look up your post about the "thousand shot buck". Thank you very much for the info. It is nice to know there are options even here. Sure wish I could understand why the traditional bow hunters are SO against Xbows.
