Update:
I contacted the Canadian Border Crossing Service which seems like a law firm that deals with cases like mine. They told me because my offense is so recent that I wouldn't qualify for any type of permit. I could apply but more than likely would get rejected. They told me that the border only randomly checks people but if they did I would more likely get denided entry. I can't take that risk, so sounds like my dream of hunting moose in canada for this year has been crushed. I was really hoping this wasn't going to be an issue.I hope this info can help keep someone from getting burnt at the border. Happy Hunting.
