I'm on my way. Today I ordered 250 Blue-X 48" tree shelters and a planting bar. Up next I will be ordering fertilizer tablets. I plan on planting some white oaks, a few apple and pear trees, and maybe some evergreens. I figure that if I don't use all of the tree shelters this year,I can always store them in the barn. I will be ordereing my trees from the NYS DEC nursery and the fertilizer tablets from Forestry Supply. I plan on using mulch from the local highway department around the base of the trees. Now cabin fever is starting to wear on me. I have drawn and redrawn my plans. Its time to execute.
