tikka super varmint?? are you talking about the t3 tactical or they arethe same gun but different cals right??
The Super Varmint is the expensive one, picatinny rail, adjustable stock, etc... The Tactical version, I believe, comes with like a 20 or 22" barrel only.
A friend has the Ruger Varmint in .204 and it is a shooter. Very comfortable and I really like the target grey finish. You won't go wrong with either one, just check them out in person and see what fits you best.
