awshucks I think you might have mistyped some on that reply.

You can slow down any excalibur crossbow by using the dacron string and heavier arrows, but would not convert the bow to the other model. To do that you would have to change a few parts. Some bows would require a change in the Shooting Rail while another bow might need a change of the riser (part that holds the limbs), and then you might need to change both.

Of bows made in the same year, all you would have to do is change the shooting rail to the size needed for the one you want. If for example you wanted to change a newer model Exomag (200lb) to the Exomax, you would have to change the riserr to the forward tilted riser. But if you had the older Exomag (185lb), you would need to change the shooting rail as well as the riser. These conversions will work in either dirrection, going up in bow class or down. All the way from the vixon to the Exomax. (now they have included two new bows and only difference is that they have a thumb hole stock, convert the stock and you will have the other model bow).

Awshucks I believe that Excalibur will sell the stocks seperately, but it might take a little time for them to get caught up on their orders to be able to sell them seperately.
