Predators have more to do with small game decline. Fox,coons,bobcats,bear,coyotes,fishers and any other animal that prey on new borns and eggs. When you got less trappers than coyotes alone the population of predators are out of control. 2005 only 23000 trapping license been sold. Now, To fix the small game they need to have no close season on all the predators except for bear. We had enough predators in Pa, and they introduce bobcats and fishers.
