Nice review. I own the stand and agree... it is a very good one for the mobile hunter.
I do wish it were even lighter... I hunt in the upper midwest and often carry a lot of heavy clothes in my backpack. Adding up stand, bow, and eveything else I am often trudging 1/2 - 2 miles in the dark carrying 40 lbs for an all-day hunt.
I have done what math I can on it and suspect that with a 250 lb weight capacity someone could make a climber that comes in around 8 lbs.
Would not be big, and would necessarily have a diminutive top piece like the lone wolf hand climber.
Until that's made however.. I will hunt with my lone wolf.
