Default RE: PA's 2002-2003 Seasons and Bag Limits

Changing the regs to "buck & doe" istead of "antlered & antlerless" won't change anything. It might protectthose 2.5" spikers, but...SCENARIO...I filled my "buck" tag with a heafty 8pt, I've met the AR. Now, I have one tag left for "doe"(previouosly antlerless). I don't have the opportunity in archery season to harvest this "doe", so I'm hunting in rifle season. I see two deer late in the season...these deer are 120yds away. I have a good shot and both are mature sized deer. I shoot, and walk up to my deer. The deer has lost his antlers...It's, by your definition a buck, requiring a "buck" tag, and I don't have one. I'm now a poacher based on technicallities. NOT FAIR OR RIGHT!

Just a scenario that's really quite possible, especially with AR. Only because more small bucks will survive to drop there antlers.

All of this is just my honest opinion, take it for what you want. Just don't take it for what it isn't.
