Default RE: MISSING MN BOWHUNTER: PLEASE READ

Isabella MN near where this fellow was found is about 30 miles of my families home. It's very rugged country of thick woods, lakes, rock ledges, spruce swamps, big timber, etc.
He is a very fortunate young guy. This area was hitting night temps. 2-3 weeks ago of minus 30-35 F. Even week before it was well below zero at night. Cougars, especially Timber Wolves are very active this part of MN.
Most areas around therecell phones don't work. Maybe he managed to find a hunting shack. But if one heads the wrong direction, you could go 20 miles or more and not run into any roads (other than occasional logging road) or houses.

He's very blessed fellow. I hope he's learned to take more precautions (e.g. GPS, compass, map, fellow hunter, equipment and let people know where you're at before heading into the woods.)
I'm really not sure what he'd be bowhunting up here this time of year anyway.I don't think thereare any deer seasons for archery or any other means open since Dec.Very unusual.
