sr77 is right. though it may seem backwards its easier to hold heavier objects steady to a certain point..im not saying attach a 20lb weight to your bow..but reasonable wieght is good..its easier for you to move a lighter weight..so a heavier weight should be more stable..but you gotta see what feels best on your bow. this year i wanna try out some longer and heavier stabilizers. i think having weight out in front of the bow would feel good for me. look at target rifles. them things are typically big and heavy to help the shooter hold them steady when shooting free hand. sorry to bring up rifles but i know more about them than bows at this point..lol
