I don't like all of the wording (just zooming thru fast I saw mention of semi auto shotgun w/ pistol grip - it could be used for hunting), but if they ever could get the wording right it's not a bad idea. Getting he wording right is the tough part - and assault weapon is not needed for hunting/sporting purposes. But the wording will never be "right".
