Except that a background check is needed for any private individual to sell an 'assault weapon' to another private individual. Also note that there is a new addition with transferring a magazine that holds over 10 rounds- If you sell an AR to a friend with a pair of 20 rd magazines, you can expect to do 20 years in prison. This bears repeating:
10 years in prison for selling a bent piece of sheet metal with a spring inside it!
