To hunt deer with anything larger than a7mm tells me someone has an ego problem. 6mm up to7mm is more than enough gun to drop a deer. Unless you can't hit where you are aiming.Then no gun is ever big enough. 300 = waiste of money and shows you got an ego problem by bragging I got a 300. I can do what a 300 does with my 280 if not better. It's because I mastered it and know what I can make it do. Really think about it. What is a 300 goanna do better than a smaller caliber.
