Wow. NOW you've opened up a serious can of worms. Mechanicals work perfectly well, IF you aren't using them as a bandaid for a poorly tuned bow. I'm personally a big fan of Magnus Stingers and Rocket Hammerheads. I LOVE the big cutting diameter of the Hammerheads, 2". But the Stingers have a lifetime warranty. I shot a doe through both shoulders last year, and it busted my Stinger all to hell. The head did it's job, but Magnus replaced it, absolutely no questions asked. I just had to send them the busted one.

There is a lot of info to learn about BH's for the newbie. The choices are nearly endless. Most heads are really high quality anymore, and if your bow and arrows are properly tuned, they should all fly well.
