The 2 most important things to consider are ammo selection,and choke.
I reccomend lead shot from #2-4o buckshot. As far as choke goes,both of the shotguns you listed comes from factory with fixed chokes. get some ammo like I reccomended and pattern them. I would venture to guess at maximum 30-40 yards.
