I have tried it but, only on a couple of occassions and it didn't seem to matter much to me. I know I had better luck during this time but, the fish appeared to be smaller. When fishing was poorer I had a few good big fish on. So myself I am nixed on the idea. Anyway I just like getting out there and enjoying it for what it is. If I catch anything it is a bonus and if not it was a great day anyways. Good Luck and good fishing.
