I have lived in Ohio for about 30 years. Many times the rural people do not open up to outsiders quickly. It can be very difficult to find places to hunt private land for varying reasons.
Personally,I prefer hunting in the eastern part of the state. Here in the northwest, thereare very few landmarks to funnel deer activity. It makes hunting in my area very difficult, even if you canfind private land to hunt. Good luck. Jamie
