Default RE: Loads for TSX bullets

Skeeter, have that same exact manual. And it shows on page 381 70.5gr of RL22 to be max with a uncoated X bullet. Whats strange is the 180gr data is almost the exact same for RL22. Typical barnes manual inconsistencies.

So if you follow thier guidelines, you can add 2g to 3gr before hitting max. Maybe thats what you were saying.

Long, I have found with my 300RUM's I could go over 2-3gr over max for an uncoated x bullet before hitting pressure signs. But a 300RUM was using over 90gr of powder. For a smaller case, like your WSM, I suggest starting at 67.5 as skeeter shows, and working up in 1gr increments until you hit 71.5gr. After that go in .5gr increments until you hit 73.5gr. I wouldn't go past that. I would spend a few hours at the range at first to see pressures signs. And next work up for accuracy.

Barnes annoys me. They come out with a error filled manual to make sure they cover the new calibers WSM and RUM and SAUM. And then comes out with thier biggest introductions in years, the one bullet that will bring people back, the TSX and MRX, and just give us this rough guideline.
