RE: Barnes XPB
I shoot them. They are stock # 45123 454 casull 451 Diameter 250 grain XPB cannelured. I shoot them out of my Knight Wolverine with 85 grains of Goex 3f and out of my Knight Disc with 120 grains of Pyrodex RS.
They are excellent long range bullets. They retain their weight. I have not had the experience to actually shoot a animal with them but have no doubt about their penetration ability with the pure copper design of the bullet. I started shooting these because they are more cost effective then shooting the Barnes MZ for muzzleloaders. They are basically the same bullet but cheaper.
