RE: Load for .270 Win
Try 130gr Hornady's /Winchester or Federal cases/magnum primers and 57gr of IMR 4831.I've used this load for over 25 years on moose, deer ,antelope and bear with no compaints from the muzzle to near a quarter mile.I won't use Remington brass as it is too brittle and the necks crack after only a couple reloads.100 Win . brass lasted me nearly 10 years before wearing out.Use magnum primers in everything for any hunting in -10F or colder.5% of your velocity is the primer under the powder!Never needed a 150gr but let your gun decide what,s more accurate.........Harold
