OK i have been Corrected. Thanks Roskoe. I was told that it was a 300 case necked down. I never actually looked for myself. I dont think you would have a problem with the 338 Mag but i dont see a need for it. A 7mm mag or 300 Win Mag is plenty for all North American game out to 300 yards and prob even farther. All the 7mm Mags ive shot have had about the same recoil as my 30-06. I dont mind posting the balistics on anything i can get them on. I dont want you to make your choice on what people say alone. Id want to be as informed as i could be.
