Yeah, but anything that would dent one of these arrows would split a full carbon shaft
sorry, I completely disagree.....This isn't aluminum vs. carbon
I've just had adverse experience with both. Those specific arrows happen to dent fairly easily. I've hadshaftscompress the side walls of the arrow when shot into layered targets at an angle. I believe any sideways pressure on the shaft when entering the target may make similar dents.
I noticed this when shooting out of a stand at a target. I think its like standing on a pop can....It'll hold you until you have sideways pressure.
The sideways pressure comes from the foam layers pushing to the front.
I've only seen it on noticable angles in my target...took me awhile to figure that out!
