They are made by Lagacy Arms out of Reno, Nevada.
They are made in Japan and imported by Legacy Sports International in Nevada. For service you would contact them. http://legacysports.com/support/index.htm

I'd purchase a Howa over a Savage any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
