Sounds like an exciting hunt Dog. Most of my best and exciting hunts I never even took a deer. I have never actually seen two bucks fighting, but a couple of years ago I heard two fighting just over a ridge, and man do they make a racket, I would have given anything to see the two bucks that were making this noise.
I guess my most memorable hunt this year was in Illinois around the 12th of Nov. I had a nice 8 pointer chase a doe underneath my stand 3 times and I could never get him to stop. I grunted with my mouth, whistled, and everything else and he just wouldnt give me a shot. This went on for about 20 minutes and then they just disappeared. It was one of the best rushes I have ever had.
It was a great hunt even though I didnt even get a shot. I guess he didnt want to meet the business end of a spitfire. IMAGINE THAT<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle>
