I had a 4" Spike come in to my stand earlier this season. He meandered under and around me for 15 minutes or so rubbing trees and saplings. He finally started tearing into this 2" sapling and poked one spike right through the center of it while jerking his head in a downward motion. He was stuck!
He hopped and kicked and screamed for nearly a minute before he freed himself! He then looked around to see if anyone had seen him make a fool of himself and walked away trying to look cool!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
When he first came in I thought about shooting him, but I was glad I let him pass for the show I got.
One more...Last week in my tree, with 2 inches of snow on the ground a big ol' fox squirrel is hopping around near me. He climbs up the back side of the tree I'm in and crawls up on my platform. I'm trying hard not to laugh as he tries like crazy to take my shoelaces! he got them untied, but couldn't get them off from my boots! I finally gave a little "BOO" and he shot 6 feet up and 4 feet out and hit the ground running! He made it to a tree 20 yards away looked back trying to figure out what the He!! just happened!
