Our family bought an african grey parrot a couple years ago and it has become quite the talker. Hundreds of words and understandings. Well, with this being my first year hitting the woods for turkeys I have been driving everyone nuts with, cuts, yelps, purrs and gobbles.

I realized tonight that I may be doing it too much in my home. I have out a slate and a box, sitting on the couch calling away, the bird is quiet. I stop calling and in a mirrored sound I hear our parrot start to cut away and then breaks into a purr.

I am an irritatator in our home and somewhat an instegator and now I am extremely pleased that our beloved parrot can call away when I am at work and drive my wife nuts LMAO !! Just thought I'd share this with all of you.

Heck, if the parrot gets good enough to do these calls on command, guess who will be on my shoulder come season!!!
