Before you jump to conclusions, let me expound. It is already well excepted and proven through experience that hunters make better soldiers than non-hunters, such as in the case of Sgt. York. Do youbelieve that soldiers, who have had no previous hunting experience, make better deerhunters, at least in regards to initial learning than non-soldiers? I will add no other qualifiers.
If they have had no prior hunting experience I'd say no. Now I'll be the first to admit that if a rifle instructor from the military took a good look at myself and probably a few others on how we hold, aim, and fire our guns they would probably have a fit (I did mention myself, don't forget). I was self taught like I'm sure most of us was on how to fire a gun. So maybe a slight advantage on shooting to the soldiers. Just wrap a towel around the deers antlers and turn um loose....
