Hey why not? You're gonna have people respond that you gotta use a gun (whatever gun) that costs $650, $800 whatever, you need a big name screw-in choke, whatever.The Maverick will shoot, it will put you in the woods. If the cost is in your budget - I say go for it. Pattern it and go hunt.

Don't know what the cost is I think I see them at $200 if I remember right.
