Hey guys, I'm new to the boards and I have a quick question. Has anyone here used a Mossberg Maverick Field 88? I'm a student at Auburn University in Alabama, and at home I had always hunted with my dad's Mossberg 835. Now though I want to hunt some in Tuskegee Nat'l Forest up here, but my dad won't let his shotgun go that far from home. I can't really even afford any shotgun at the moment, but would the Maverick be a waste of money or not?
