Default RE: How forgiving is a FORGIVING BRACE HEIGHT really?

Similar to short vs. long barrel, except, even at 300fps, you will have about30inches of drop on your "arch." Drop that speed down to something around 250, and you get about 44 inches of drop. The nice thing about speed is that if you misjudge distance 5 yds ona 40yd shot (shooting 300fps vs. 250 fps), you are still going to be close. I agree, the best of both worlds is speed and forgiveness, that is why I have said in another thread, the bow I'd buy if I were buying a new bow right now, would be a Vectrix XL. Because of the longer axle length, and the extra 1-1.5" braceheight over the Vulcan and "regular" Vectrix. Assuming the new Bowtech Guardian isn't going to have any LIMB problems, it might be the best bang for the buck, but that is yet to be determined.
