Some of you mention the beauty of the A&H 420 wood stock. If I could find a pretty in line I might consider buying one for a faster twist barrel. Does anyone know of a break action ML currently available in solid (not composite) wood stock?
Most of the inline rifles use a laminated wood stock simply because of the strength of the material and I am sure a cost factor as well. I am not sure about the Lyman Mustang. Now on Auction sites there are older model inlines like the Knight MK-85 but while these are great muzzleloaders, are far from modern technology break open. I think the only way out would be custom...
