shooting LR is the easy part,
I thought you said setting up in the right place and seeing deer at close range was the easy part and that's why you had to back off to 600 yards to make it a challenge. Now you say that hitting them at long range is the easy part as well. Well if that's easy too then where's the challenge in for you at all. Are you confused or just making up this stuff as you go? If all you've said is true I think you should just chuck it and take up a real challenge like Taiwanese stick fighting.A god among men like yourself iswasted on a simplistic sport like hunting.
how on earth could a man be so stupid about deer hunting if he has in fact hunted for 33 years.
And exactly what about having a sense of ethics about what we do makes someone stupid? Is it because I'm not too cheap to buy some paper targets instead of using live deer when I wanna do some long distance shooting, that makes me stupid? Perhaps it's because I don't take longer than necessary shots at game animals just so I can brag about the distant shots that went well (and never mention the ones that don't) that makes me stupid. If so, I guess I'd rather bestupid than cheap, unethical, a braggartand blinded by delusions of grandeur. To me dumb is taking a 600 yard shot at a big buck when you could easily (according to you) take a much closer one. Can't think of anyone I know that would do that on purpose. Thank god.
