Good ideas fellas...will try them both. We do have corn, soybeans and lots of dirt. Never thought of using grains, and wondered how to get earth scent. But.....will now have to wait till next season AS I GOT MY FIRST BOWKILL THIS MORNING! This was my first year bowhunting.

Not much to brag about as it was only a little button buck (thought it was a doe when i shot), but it was a deer nevertheless and I was tickled pink. I was proud as punch till I got home and the kids and wife were inspecting the deer. My youngest boy (3-1/2) says "Dad why doesnt it have any sticks on it's head?". Oh well maybe next year! Had lots of fun, and I sure appreciate all the information I picked up off this site. Thanks boys.
