I actually hunted elk in Utah by the whiterocks river where the movie was shot, according to the rancher that I stayed with. He showed us where the cabin had been before they burned it down for the movie. This was north of the town Whiterocks, UT. He knows the guy that suppliedsome of the horses for the movie. Nice country.
