Default RE: 07 Allegiance Problem

Hold on guys,, don't go putting spacers in without thinking. You could create more problems by doing so. On my '05 Allegiance, there are spacers from the factory installed but on my '06 Tribute there are none. It's due to the different cams on the '06 and the bearing races in them are wider than the outside thickness of the cams,, the way it's designed. It could be that when the bearings were pressed into the cam bores, they weren't seated correctly and not allowing the correct gap between the limb and the cam face. A better fix would be to have the bearings checked for proper depth in the bores instead of shimming the limb forks. These bows are built with very tight tolerances and sometimes if not ALL tolerances are not met, can cause clearance issues in a different area.
