really my favorite is my browningsweet sixteen. I've killed two rabbits this year at over 50 yards, and missed a few at 20yards. i shoot #5, that i reloaded. I think the 16ga is a great gun, i find the 20ga good but, the 12ga makes too much peanut butter if you know what i mean. The rest of my family hunts with .22 handguns. the problem i find with the .22 is that you can shoot a rabbit in the chest and it will run a long time. 1-3 pellets from my 16ga put the rabbit down in a matter of a couple bounces. second i think it's safer for my dog to be in the woods with shotguns
