I have 3 also, well make that 4 counting the mark11 .22 cal. I have a 110 308 tactical, a 111 270 win and a 12BVSS 223 and they will also do well under an inch. well ( the mark11 will not come close to an inch ). But when I see a rifle with a barrel nut I feel sure it is a shooter and the owner didn't get screwed at the check out counter. You can't say that about the other num nut brands!
