I'll give you some good info but the only reason I can bring myself to do it is because I have a few bonus points already. If you draw the right tag Utah has some great areas and its on public land. The tricky part is drawing the tag. Look at the Book Cliffs, Diamond Mountain, Monroe, San Juan and Pansaugunt area. These are trophy areas with excellent success rates. These tags are extremely hard to draw, usually 1 in 50 or so on average. It is possible to draw every year but the more points you have the better chance you have. You can apply for a bonus point for $5 and the out of state tag runs over $500.
