If the cam returns to the same place at brace when the arrow leaves the string, it wouldn't matter would it?
how straight a path did the string take? did it not move right to left, or viceversa w/ the cams?do you think that effects you nock, ordoes it maintain the ability to just go straight even though the string is not? the more movementyour cams have fromrest to full draw right to left - or vice versa - the more side to side movement your string has, and the more you miss left and right.
Alright Gibblet I'm following all of this as best I can but have to ask-
Will adding a nylon washer to ONE side of my cam on top & bottom not enhance the side to side effect you are describing?
Have you tried removing the nylon washer and then running the bow through the paces on your new machine?
If it was originally a limb issue and the band-aid was the washer, would a correct set of limbs sans extra washer shoot straighter?
I'm still at the crossroads (add shim or leave alone) and want to do the right thing, not make a tuning issue out of a minor issue.
Thoughts?
