Apparently the trick is out of the bag because federal ammunition has come out with there line called High Energy which with the standard calibers they offer in high energy loads are meeting and exceeding hornady's light magnum loads. Before too long Im sure winchester and remington will have the same kind of loads. when that happens the technology i would imagine will be available to the handloader, hopefully. but untill then I will stick with my 308 and 30-06 aswell no need for a cartridge I cant duplicate or exceed factory loadings.
