Thanks for the max for the Imr 4831.What gun are you shooting the 50 grs of 4350 in? I am shooting the Rem,BDL SS with a 24 in barrel.The hornady manual gives 3000 fps with 57 grs of Imr 4350 in a 22 in barrel so I am guessing that I should be getting around 3100 in the 24 in barrel.I will check it when it gets better weather to shoot in.
I think you will like the SST,I have taken 3 with the 150 gr in 30/06 and 2 with the 165 gr.and one with the 139gr in 7/08,from 50 to 180 yds,all but one was shot behind the shouldercomplete pass throughs,the one was shot at 75yds in the shoulder (left) exited behind the right shoulder still a complete pass through.I haven't had one that the bullet stayed inside to see how it mushroomed.
