I know that its very easy to make a snare depending on what your trying to catch with it, but I think I heard about a trap thats more along the lines of what your thinking of.

I ran a google search a while ago just to check out some trapping photo galleries. There were a couple animals that were caught in some kind of trap. I think they called it a "German leghold trap." It was made out of some kind of sapling, but im not sure how it worked.

Anyone else know any info about this?
