As far as calls go, I started out with a push/pull box call, then regular box call, then slate calls. Practice, practice, then more practice. As far as tactics go, you'll have to learn them as you go. If you can roost a tom the night before you hunt, you'll improve your success rate. Just spend as much time hunting them as you can and you'll learn a lot from those critters. Also, you may want to limit your shooting range to 30 or 35 yards with the 20 gauge, depending on how heavy a load you will be shooting. You won't know until you pattern your shotgun. Good Luck!!!
