Why not go to Prince Wales Island, Alaska?? You can go ona DIY black bear hunt for 7+ days including roundtrip airfare, with lodging, vehicle rental, boat rental, gas, food, licensing and tags, etc.... for $2000.00 a piece. I went in May '05 and am going back this May. Prince Wales Island isone of thepremier black bear hunting destinations in the world. In May of '05 in four days of hunting, we saw 40+ bears and all three of us killed out. One bear squared over 7ft and skulled out at 21.5 inches which qualified it for the B&C all time book.
