OH has good advice. Mead leases a lot of land for around $5-6 per acre. However, they sold a lot of land last year so I don't know what the current status is. A MAJOR problem with leasing in SE Ohio is the amount of poachers that you will have on your leased land. You will have to deal with it if you lease so just be aware of that. After having done it for a few years I am never doing it again down there. There are just too many hillbillies who have no respect for anyone or anything. Plus, like said before, there are a lot of FREE opportunities in Ohio on good publlic lands.
