I got my first bird (or should I say birds) the first time I went out. I was doing some basic light calling in the fall, and I had a group of about 25 to 30 hens come with in 15 yards of me. I was so excited...I didn't know which one to shoot, so being my first time, I picked the closest one and pulled the trigger....two more fell down behind the one that I shot. I got three hens in one shot! Needless to say, we eat turkey for a while....
