I can't believe that in a 2 week buck and doe season, we took the same number of deer as in a 2 week buck and 3 day does season. So I guess they should just go back to the old format so all the slobs won't have to leave the deer lay.

I think they need to spend some time and money to invest in check stations and better reporting of harvested deer. I think these guestimates that they use are seriously out of line.

I like the idea of earning a buck. I know many archers who take their buck and don't worry about a doe until rifle season (but that is because they like the rifle hunt as well.) Maybe they could earn an additional doe tag as well??
