Who owns a Savage model 12 Varmint rifle or has shot one.
I want to buy my first center fire rifle. I won’t get the chance to hunt as often as many of you so I don’t want to spend an arm and a leg on it. I have decided on a synthetic stock with a free floating barrel. I’m leaning towards the Savage model 12 series in 243 caliber. Most of my hunting will be geared towards coyote’s so I believe the 243 should be a decent choice.
For those of you that own the model 12 varmint rifle or have shot one what do you think of them?. Am I on the right track or should I consider a different model.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
