Cayugad, that is the exact setup I am going to try this spring. I have the Lyman peep mounted. I got the Lyman front sight from Shenandoah on DWB's. It didn't come with the + insert, but I am going to order the insert soon.

Like you question, the big downfall from what I have heard is in low light.
Aim small, hit small. Looks good to me. I would like to know how they would work for hunting. Chap Gleason
