I've been offered a hunt swap!!!
OAnyone ever hunted Red Deer? Know any calls/ Or do they call like an Elk.
I have been offered a hunt swap in Ireland after Red Deer. My wife is from Donegal and my br-in-law has a great buddy that has access to Sika, Fallow, but mainly superb Red hunting. I was there last October scouting some and seen a 16 point Stag, With my own 2 eyes. I'm looking into the red tape involved w/ the hunt right now but plan on hunting them during the rut late sept. early oct. Anyone w/ any experience hunting these critters it would be appreciated. O, I forgot to mention he is comming to S.E. Pa. for a Whitetail hunt. LOL what a fool!
